Investments

You may have spent a lifetime accumulating investments, making your own shrewd decisions to ensure your family are well provided for. Over time, the paperwork relating to all of these investments begins to build up with many changes of names of providers, old and new policy numbers, and what seems like a new valuation or notification from these companies every few days.

It can all add up to feeling like a chore to organise all of your investments and set aside time to review their performance regularly.

Long-Term Care Planning

Age UK estimates that in England alone, 1.2 million older people will be in need of care and support by 2040. Later life care doesn’t just mean having to move in to a care home. The reality is there are lots of options.

Some of us will require little or no care and a minority are likely to need long-term and expensive residential nursing care. The majority of us will fall somewhere between. Unfortunately, no one can predict exactly how much care they’ll need as they get older.

We can help you make a plan to protect your wealth for your loved ones.

Estate Planning

Estate planning is about you deciding what you would like to happen to your estate on your death and how to provide for those you’ll leave behind. An estate plan goes much further than making a Will (although that’s the first step!) and while talking about death isn’t pleasant, having a plan can make it much easier for your loved ones to deal with your estate, taking comfort in following your wishes.

Having a comprehensive plan can help to protect your estate for your beneficiaries and reduce the amount of inheritance tax they are liable to pay, meaning more wealth stays where you’d like it to. Without a plan, HMRC could be your main beneficiary!
