Soon I will be able to cross one item off my bucket list that has been on there for years, a bungee jump! At the end of August, my colleague James and I will be taking part in a bungee jump for BRACE.

I have been told signing up is the hard part, but I will put that theory to the test when I am 160ft above the Lloyds Amphitheatre in Bristol…

I believe in always following your goals, no matter how big or small, so I am grateful to be given this opportunity to achieve one of mine. To be able to do this in support of BRACE, makes the experience that more meaningful.

Having family members who have suffered with dementia, I have seen first-hand the affect it has on a family unit. This is why I personally believe Dementia research is so vital to helping others affected by the illness. Supporting BRACE allows me to help them take one small step closer to gaining a better understanding of dementia, find better treatments, achieve earlier diagnosis and one day, a cure.
